Kilts and culture – Scotland, what a great MICE destination! Looking back on this project, we are still inspired by everything our 65 guests got to experience there.
There’s always that tingle – will everything work out?
It certainly did – the warm welcome of the Scots is enchanting right from the airport. Warmth with a dash of humor makes everything feel light – even without whisky, by the way.
In Scotland, you can feel what you know from the movies, true to the motto: “I’ve always wanted to experience that!” Here, past, present and future flow into one another and complement each other – almost magically. And when the weather gods also play their part with bright sunshine, the guests’ hearts open up and pure joy moves in.
This time, our guests enjoyed a varied program – from an exploration tour in a real double-decker bus through the streets of the Old Town to a bird of prey show, trying out Highland Games and a bagpipe workshop, there was plenty on offer.
The absolute highlight was an elegant evening in an exclusive waterside manor house. Dressed in traditional kilts, our gentlemen welcomed their companions in a picturesque setting. What followed was an exuberant evening of dancing and music that will surely be remembered for a long time.
We don’t just want to create “nice” moments, but ones that connect people and build trust – above all in the company that makes these special moments possible for its guests. And when we succeed, we are happy – just like this time.
